Maa Inti Bangaaram Achieves Strong Box Office Performance on Day Three

Maa Inti Bangaaram, the latest film starring actor Samantha, has concluded its opening weekend with impressive box office figures on Day Three. The Sunday earnings reached an India net of Rs 10.10 crore from 2,965 shows, raising the total India gross to Rs 26.69 crore and the overall India net to Rs 23.10 crore.

The film showcased consistent growth throughout its first weekend. Opening day collections stood at Rs 5.35 crore from 2,658 shows, with an occupancy rate of 31.9 per cent. It saw a notable increase in collections on Saturday, garnering Rs 7.63 crore from 2,591 shows, achieving an occupancy rate of 44.6 per cent.

The final day of the weekend proved to be the most lucrative, with the film achieving its highest single-day net collection so far. Occupancy rose to 53.4 per cent on Sunday, which contributed significantly to the overall performance. The film’s strong earnings illustrate its popularity among viewers.

Overall Collection and Breakdown of Earnings

After a successful opening weekend, the overall figures for Maa Inti Bangaaram reveal a total India net collection of Rs 23.10 crore and an India gross collection of Rs 26.69 crore. Additionally, the film collected Rs 4.00 crore overseas on Day Three, contributing to a total overseas gross of Rs 15.10 crore. The worldwide collection now stands at Rs 41.79 crore.

In terms of language-specific earnings, Telugu shows contributed Rs 9.50 crore, with an occupancy rate of 61 per cent across 2,341 shows. The Tamil language shows contributed a smaller Rs 0.60 crore, achieving a 25 per cent occupancy across 624 shows.

Among the cities, Hyderabad led in the number of Telugu shows, providing 501 screenings with a high occupancy of 79.3 per cent. Bengaluru followed with 326 shows, while Vizag-Visakhapatnam offered 119 shows. For Tamil shows, Chennai hosted the highest number of 2D screenings at 121, with an occupancy rate of 33.5 per cent, followed by Coimbatore and Salem.

Film Overview and Cast Details

Maa Inti Bangaaram presents a narrative set within a traditional household, focusing on a woman with a concealed past who struggles to attain acceptance. As threats from her previous life re-emerge, she faces the challenge of protecting her family, who are sceptical of her, without disclosing the truth about her past.

The film is directed by Nandini Reddy and is based on a storyline developed by Raj Nidimoru. It debuted in theatres on June 19. The supporting cast features notable actors including Diganth, Gulshan Devaiah, Gautami, Manjusha, and Sreemukhi in significant roles.

This project also signifies Samantha’s comeback to lead roles in Telugu cinema following her work in Kushi. The combination of a strong narrative and Samantha’s prominent presence is believed to have contributed to the film’s favourable reception at the box office.
