Shyam Metalics Reports 8% Growth in Q1 Net Profit, Declares Dividend

Financial Results Overview

Shyam Metalics revealed its financial performance for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 in an exchange filing dated July 20. The company’s consolidated net profit increased by 8.2%, reaching Rs 345 crore, compared to Rs 319 crore in the previous quarter.

In terms of revenue, the company experienced a rise of 4.1%, reporting Rs 5,455 crore for Q1FY27, up from Rs 5,240 crore in the preceding quarter. This growth reflects a positive trend in the company’s operational performance.

The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) saw a notable increase of 5.3%, amounting to Rs 765 crore, up from Rs 727 crore in the last quarter. The EBITDA margin improved slightly to 14% in the first quarter, compared to 13.9% in the previous quarter.

Dividend Declaration

Along with its quarterly results, Shyam Metalics announced the declaration of an interim dividend of Rs 1.8 per equity share for the financial year 2027. This dividend reflects 18% of the face value of Rs 10 per share.

The company has set July 24, 2026, as the record date for determining eligible shareholders who will receive the dividend. Payments for the declared dividend will be processed within 30 days of the declaration date.

The official filing specified, “The payment of 1st Interim Dividend of Rs. 1.80/- per Equity Share, being 18% of the face value of Rs. 10/- each, for the financial year 2026-27. The Record Date for the purpose of determining entitlement of the members for the payment of Interim Dividend shall be Friday, 24 July, 2026.”
