The CSR Journal Magazine

An Israeli airstrike resulted in the deaths of at least three Palestinians, including an eight-year-old child, when it struck a tent housing displaced individuals in the Gaza Strip on Monday. This incident occurred amid an existing ceasefire, raising concerns about continued violence in the region.

The Israeli military announced that the target of the airstrike was Zaher Abu Salem, identified as a member of Islamic Jihad. The strike reportedly took place in Deir al-Balah, a locality typically less affected by ongoing hostilities in central Gaza. Health authorities in the area confirmed that two men and a child were among those killed.

An official from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital noted that another person sustained injuries during the attack. The incident highlights the complications and dangers faced by civilians in conflict zones, even during periods that are officially designated as ceasefire or truce.
