Residents heard multiple explosions, and thick smoke was visible near the airport, where US military personnel are stationed. Conflicting reports emerged from Iran, with the Revolutionary Guard claiming to have attacked US facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain, asserting they caused significant damage.

Meanwhile, petrol prices in the United States have risen to an average of $4.11 per gallon, exacerbating economic strain coinciding with the military violence.

Recent reports highlight the human cost of the ongoing conflict, with Iran’s Health Ministry estimating 3,434 fatalities since the hostilities escalated. The International Maritime Organization has indicated that around 6,000 mariners are stranded aboard approximately 400 vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, with the United Nations urging prompt action to assist these individuals.
