Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry his partner Gauri Spratt on July 5, with the ceremony set to take place at his residence in Mumbai.

Speaking to the media during a promotional event for Pritam and Pedro on Wednesday, the actor said the wedding would be a private affair attended only by family members and a small circle of close friends. He also sought blessings from well-wishers as the couple prepares to begin a new chapter together.

Wedding To Be Held At Home

Sharing details of the ceremony, Aamir said the couple had deliberately chosen to keep the celebrations small and personal.

“The wedding is taking place on July 5. It is a very intimate affair, being held right at home. It is a very special day for us. Both our families and a few close friends will be there; we are keeping it small and celebrating at home. We seek everyone’s blessings and prayers – please bless us and pray that we remain happy and have a wonderful journey ahead,” he said.

The actor’s confirmation comes days before the ceremony and follows months of speculation surrounding the couple’s future plans.

Relationship Made Public Earlier This Year

Aamir first introduced Gauri Spratt to the media during celebrations marking his 60th birthday earlier this year, publicly acknowledging their relationship for the first time.

More recently, he confirmed in an interview with Variety India that the couple had decided to take the next step in their relationship.

“Yes, that is true. But now we both feel we are ready to take our relationship to the next level,” he had said.

Reflecting on their bond, Aamir said he already viewed their relationship as a lifelong commitment.

“I am at peace. Gauri and I are serious about each other, and we are in a very committed space. We are partners, we are together. In my heart, I’m already married to her,” he said.

Who Is Gauri Spratt?

Based in Bengaluru, Gauri Spratt works in the wellness industry and is the mother of seven-year-old Quinn from a previous marriage.

She is also the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, the British-born communist who arrived in India during the 1920s and later became associated with the country’s freedom movement.

Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.

He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao. Although the couple separated, they continue to co-parent their son, Azad Rao Khan.

With the wedding now confirmed, Aamir and Gauri are set to formalise their relationship in a close-knit ceremony surrounded by family and friends on July 5.
