Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made a road journey from Kashipur to Khatima on Monday evening, receiving an enthusiastic welcome from local residents at numerous locations along the way. Enthusiasm was displayed in various forms, including the use of bulldozers by some supporters to express their strong backing. Large gatherings formed along the route in Kashipur, Bajpur, Gadarpur, Rudrapur, Dineshpur, Kichha, and Sitarganj, where citizens of all ages came out to greet their leader, showering him with flowers.

Prayers and Development Initiatives

During his visit, Chief Minister Dhami paid his respects at the Mata Bal Sundari Temple. There, he prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state’s inhabitants as well as for ongoing advancements in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister announced a specific financial allocation from the Chaiti Mela fund aimed at enhancing the temple’s aesthetic appeal and promoting development in its surrounding regions. He articulated the importance of the occasion, stating that prayers were offered for the overall well-being of the state.

Community Engagement and Government Outreach

After the prayer ceremony, a bhajan evening was inaugurated on the temple grounds, marked by the lighting of a lamp. The announcement regarding the financial support for the temple’s beautification came during this event. In a subsequent post on X, Chief Minister Dhami expressed gratitude for the extensive support he received, asserting that the warm reception signifies the public’s confidence in the welfare initiatives undertaken by the BJP government.
