Three individuals lost their lives, and six others sustained injuries when a truck carrying compressed natural gas (CNG) cylinders collided with a parked bus on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway in Rajasthan. The tragic incident occurred on June 29, 2026, near Mahla village as the bus was stationary, having experienced mechanical issues. Reports indicated that the vehicle, transporting devotees returning from the Sanwariya Seth temple, was parked due to a malfunction involving a broken axle.

According to the Mokhampura Station House Officer, Suresh Gurjar, the bus had been moved to the roadside for repairs when the truck, travelling at a high speed, crashed into it. The force of the impact was strong enough to overturn the bus, resulting in chaos among its passengers. The deceased have been identified as Madhura, Rahul Harijan, and Bhanwar Singh Rajawat, all of whom died at the scene.

Emergency responders arrived shortly after the incident, ferrying the injured to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. Among those injured are Kanta, Rohan, Varsha, Kartik, Rekha, and Chanchal Aadiwal. Initial reports suggest that five of them were released after receiving first aid, while one individual remains in critical condition.

Following the collision, the driver of the truck reportedly fled the scene, leaving the vehicle abandoned on the highway. Authorities have registered a case concerning the fatal accident and have initiated a search operation to locate the driver.
