Although he successfully entered the property, his plan faltered when he noticed movement in the vicinity, prompting a hasty retreat. In a surprising turn of events, he became trapped in the grille while attempting to escape, leaving him immobilised and vulnerable.

A video recording of this incident soon went viral on social media, depicting the thief awkwardly wedged within the iron bars of the gate. Bystanders captured the scene as the man struggled to extricate himself, with people nearby verbally chastising him for his predicament.
