Kharge took to social media platform X to underscore the significance of this moment, stating, “India’s ‘Students’ Echo’ has finally reached the threshold of arrogant power.” He attributed the resignation to the unwavering efforts and resolve of students who have actively voiced their demands for reforms in the education sector.

Moreover, he called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apologise to students and reiterated the necessity for accountability against those who had allegedly used force during protests. According to Kharge, this event signifies a defeat for the government’s obstinacy and a victory for truth in the face of adversity.

Minister’s Resignation Came Amidst Rising Protests

The resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan was officially submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reportedly in response to the escalating protests surrounding examination irregularities within the educational system. Following weeks of demonstrations, students have demanded clearer policies and increased transparency regarding examinations.
