On June 18, Jani indicated that he had previously been targeted with threats from Pakistan in connection with the film’s imminent release.
In his latest complaint, Jani reported that an unknown caller allegedly threatened him with murder, stipulating a tight deadline of three days for action. Following the incident, he took to social media platform X to share a photograph of the complaint letter, urging relevant officials to take immediate action to ensure his safety.
Jani reiterated that he had received the first death threat earlier on the same day and had already taken steps to lodge an official complaint. He specified that he received a threatening phone call at 11.06 pm from someone claiming to be a fan of Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

Recently, actor Salman Khan filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the makers of “Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy.” He claims that the film is based on his ongoing legal issues regarding blackbuck poaching.
