Every officer involved was briefed on the importance of ensuring the ability of devotees to engage in the festivities in a safe, dignified manner.

During the festival, the motto “Service Before Self” was central to the officers’ responsibilities, which included assisting the elderly, reuniting lost children with their families, and providing first aid. These actions reflected the essence of policing during such a significant event.
