Ahmedabad’s Fatehwadi neighborhood has become the epicenter of a crime straight out of a thriller movie ‘Drishyam’. Ruby Ansari, in a shocking act of betrayal, allegedly conspired with her lover, Imran Vaghela, and two friends, Sahil and Faizu, to kill her husband Sameer Ansari.

The gruesome plot involved binding, stabbing, dismembering, and burying the victim right under the kitchen floor of their home. Amazingly, the crime went undetected for 14 months.

Tip-Off Reveals Horrifying Secret

The Ahmedabad Crime Branch began its investigation after receiving intelligence about Sameer’s disappearance three months ago. Police discovered that his mobile had been inactive for over a year, and no one had seen him during this time. DCP Ajit Rajiyan confirmed that the murder was orchestrated by Ruby, with Imran and his friends actively helping.

According to police reports, the victim’s hands and feet were bound before he was fatally attacked with a sharp weapon. His body was then dismembered and buried under cement and tiles in the kitchen, ensuring no suspicion arose.

Macabre Discovery at Fatehwadi Home

Acting on Imran’s confession, the crime branch dug up Ruby’s house near the Fatehwadi Canal. Under magistrate supervision, human remains were found and sent for DNA confirmation.

Locals revealed that the couple had lived in the area for five years, with marital disputes escalating after Imran moved into the neighborhood a year prior. Ruby had allegedly told neighbors Sameer had gone to Dubai while she lived with her lover openly.

Aftermath and Hunt for Accomplices

After the murder, Ruby reportedly stayed in the house for a few months before renting it out. Tenants later reported foul smells and an unsettling atmosphere. Authorities have arrested Imran, while Ruby and her two accomplices remain at large.
