Police officials informed Ganguly’s personal assistant that the investigation had commenced and all necessary precautions are being taken to guarantee the security of the former cricket captain and his family. Given Ganguly’s prominence in the public eye, the security department has also been alerted to review the threat level and determine if additional security measures are warranted. This step is in line with standard procedures for handling threats against high-profile individuals.
