In addition, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH44) was closed due to ongoing heavy rainfall. Reports suggest the continuous downpour caused mudslides and falling rocks at several points along the route, prompting authorities to halt all vehicular movement from both Qazigund in Kashmir and Udhampur towards Ramban.

Furthermore, heavy rains in the Bhalesa region of Doda district led to swelling rivers and streams, resulting in damage to residential buildings, crops, and agricultural land. Local administrations in Doda and Kishtwar advised residents to steer clear of high-altitude areas prone to landslides, as well as riverbanks, until conditions improve.
