She emphasised the scale of the protests, asserting that the youth demonstrated in many cities where they were met with force, including alleged beatings and firing. Her critique suggested that the government should provide an explanation for the police’s actions during these incidents.

Further comments from Gandhi referenced the use of tear gas and the alleged deployment of pellet guns against protesters, asserting that such measures were excessive. Notably, she alleged that an AK-47 had been used against demonstrators in Bihar, raising questions about the measures taken by law enforcement during the protests.
