A recent diamond exploration initiative in Mahasamund district, Chhattisgarh, has resulted in the discovery of five diamonds during bulk sample testing. The collective weight of the five diamonds is reported to be 1.22 carats. This discovery follows extensive scientific analysis of nearly 200 tonnes of mineral-bearing material obtained from the exploration site.
