Daughter Allegedly Orchestrates Mother’s Murder For Job And Property

The CSR Journal Magazine

A carefully planned murder allegedly orchestrated by the daughter has led to the death of a 45-year-old court employee, identified as Neeraj Sharma. The incident transpired at approximately 4:45 pm on July 3 in Jaipur, when she was reportedly struck by a Scorpio SUV at a high speed while returning home after dropping her son at a coaching institute. The impact reportedly propelled her nearly 100 feet away, resulting in her immediate death.

Following the collision, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. However, subsequent investigations revealed through CCTV footage that this was not an accidental hit but a meticulously planned act of murder. The police’s inquiry led to the discovery of a conspiracy involving close family members of the victim.

Investigation Unveils Family Conspiracy

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) East Ranjita Sharma, the victim’s husband had passed away about a year prior to the incident. After this event, Neeraj had received a compassionate appointment as a Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in a court. Allegedly, her daughter, Ayushi Sharma, sought to secure this government position for herself, leading to tension between them as Neeraj had accepted the position instead.

The investigation reportedly uncovered Ayushi’s involvement in a property dispute with her mother, which had been ongoing for two to three years. Authorities allege that Ayushi conspired with her uncle, Mohan Swaroop, and cousin, Balram alias Ravi, to orchestrate the murder of Neeraj. It has been reported that they hired a resident of Bharatpur, Hemant Sharma, offering him a contract of Rs 7 lakh to execute their plan.

Prior to the incident, Ayushi and her accomplices are believed to have conducted surveillance on Neeraj for several days, initially using a rented Thar SUV. However, their initial attempts were unsuccessful, which led them to continue tracking her movements for nearly a month before ultimately carrying out the murder with the Scorpio SUV.

Arrests and Confessions

On the day of the murder, it is reported that the involved parties coordinated their actions meticulously. Mohit Sharma is said to have tracked Neeraj’s real-time location, while Rohit Jatav awaited close by on a motorcycle. Akash Sharma, who was driving the Scorpio, had Arvind Sharma as a passenger. After the incident, they allegedly abandoned the murder vehicle and fled the scene using a motorcycle.

Following the incident, Neeraj’s brother, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, lodged a police complaint. He informed investigators that Neeraj had previously confided in him about harassment she faced from her daughter and other family members regarding property matters. He also mentioned receiving multiple death threats directed at her.

During questioning, Ayushi is reported to have confessed her motive, expressing a desire to acquire her late father’s government job after his death. Upon discovering that her mother had taken the position under compassionate grounds, she resolved to eliminate her in order to obtain both the job and the associated property.

As a result of the investigation, Ayushi Sharma, along with Mohan Swaroop, Mohit Sharma, Akash Sharma, Arvind Sharma, Hemant Sharma, and Rohit Jatav, has been arrested. Balram alias Ravi, who is identified as a primary conspirator, remains at large, with local authorities actively seeking to apprehend him.
