Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, assured a woman from Shravasti that her child would receive necessary medical treatment without facing obstacles. This support was provided during the ‘Janta Darshan’ held at the Gorakhnath Temple complex on April 16. The Chief Minister responded to the woman’s plea for assistance concerning her seriously ill child, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing healthcare access.

During this public engagement, the woman revealed that her family lacked an Ayushman Card, which is essential for availing government health benefits. On learning about their situation, Adityanath immediately pledged to facilitate the issuance of the card and additionally provide financial assistance from the discretionary fund. His reassurance focused on the urgency and importance of addressing healthcare needs without delay.

Immediate Actions Taken

Following the consultation, Yogi Adityanath accepted the woman’s application and promptly directed administrative officials to forward it to the District Magistrate of Shravasti. This initiative was aimed at expediting the process of obtaining the Ayushman Card. Furthermore, the Chief Minister instructed officials to prepare an estimate of the child’s treatment costs, which would then be submitted to the state government for further aid.

On the same day, during ‘Janta Darshan’, Adityanath interacted with approximately 200 individuals, dedicating time to listen to their concerns. He moved through the assembly of attendees, gathering written applications and providing immediate directives to help resolve their issues. His hands-on approach highlighted the government’s commitment to addressing public grievances efficiently.

Emphasising the importance of swift action, the Chief Minister encouraged the attendees, stating that the government would address every complaint with an effective and impartial approach. This was met with reassurance for those in distress, reflecting a commitment to public welfare.

Addressing Wider Community Issues

Adityanath also addressed various complaints concerning crime and land encroachment during the event. He instructed police officials to enforce strict measures against criminal activity and the unlawful land mafia. Reiterating the need for maintaining law and order, the Chief Minister called for accountability within the system while ensuring the safety of the community.

In addition to addressing serious matters, the Chief Minister took time to engage with families present. He warmly greeted several women attending with their children, displaying a compassionate demeanor and fostering a sense of connection during the outreach. He interacted with the children, offering them chocolates and extending his blessings, which resonated well with the attendees.
