PK, who contested elections on 238 seats for the first time by forming Jan Suraj Party, did not win even a single seat. Even their deposits on 236 seats were confiscated. The result was disappointing with 16.77 lakh votes and 3.34% vote share. Taking responsibility for this defeat, Prashant Kishore kept a silent fast for one day and then made a big announcement in front of the public.

PK will donate 90% of his property to the people of Bihar

PK said that he will donate 90% of his wealth to the people of Bihar. He clearly said that except the house in Delhi, all the movable and immovable assets that he has acquired in the last 20 years will be invested in the ‘Jan Suraj’ campaign and the development work of Bihar. He also announced that he will donate 90 percent of whatever he earns in the coming five years to this campaign.

How much property does Prashant Kishore own?

The question in people’s mind is that how much wealth does Prashant Kishore have? Some time ago, PK himself had told that he had earned Rs 241 crore from consultancy services in just three years. With this earning, he formed his own party and entered the Bihar elections with full strength.

According to media reports, at present his total wealth is said to be between Rs 55 to 60 crores. He also had a company, which made election strategies for many big parties including PM Modi and from this he earned income worth crores of rupees. Later he separated from that company.

PK did not donate the Delhi house

He has a house in Delhi where his family lives. He has kept this house separate from charity. Despite defeat in the elections, Prashant Kishore has not accepted defeat. He says that he will again go among the public and continue the fight for change in Bihar. His announcement has now become a topic of new political discussion as to what new path PK is preparing by donating such a huge property.
