She is the daughter of current Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Diya Kumari. Gauravi comes from an illustrious lineage of Rajmata Gayatri Devi, who is still remembered for her timeless beauty. Gauravi in past had spoken about strong women of her family, including her grandmother Rajmata Padmini Devi and her mother. Gauravi studied at Mayo College Girls’ School, and later she went for higher education from New York University.
