Dr Singh emphasizes the importance of protective measures, such as using clean towels and sunglasses outdoors. She advises that individuals should make sure not to direct cooling air towards the face for long periods, as this can lead to further dryness and irritation.

Daily routines that include washing the face and eyes after returning indoors, as well as avoiding eye contact with unclean hands, are essential. Staying hydrated and taking short breaks from screens every 20 to 30 minutes is also recommended to alleviate eye strain.

Individuals should not ignore persistent discomfort in the eyes. Symptoms like constant itching, excessive redness, prolonged watering, blurry vision, or light sensitivity can be indicative of underlying issues such as dryness or infection. Early intervention can prevent more severe complications.
