The altercation arose amid a VVIP movement, highlighting tensions surrounding parking regulations in crowded situations. Reports indicate that during this incident, a taxi and a motorcycle were parked incorrectly, prompting the police officer’s intervention.

The officer reportedly demanded the driver to move both vehicles simultaneously, to which the driver responded that it was not feasible. This disagreement escalated, leading to verbal exchanges between the two individuals. Allegedly, the police officer threatened to issue a ticket for purported traffic violations.

The confrontation took a more serious turn when the taxi driver began recording the exchange on his mobile phone. He is seen in the video asking for the officer’s name after identifying it from his nameplate. According to reports, the situation escalated quickly, culminating in the officer, identified as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pyar Singh, allegedly kicking the driver during the argument.

The footage has since been widely disseminated on various social media platforms, inciting criticism from the public and raising questions about the appropriateness of the officer’s conduct. Observers note that the use of physical force appeared unwarranted given that the disagreement remained largely verbal until that point.
