Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Leaks Online: Design, Specs, Battery And Launch Details

The CSR Journal Magazine

Samsung’s next Fan Edition smartphone may have surfaced online months ahead of its expected debut. The rumoured Galaxy S26 FE has allegedly appeared in certification and benchmark listings, offering an early look at its design, hardware and possible feature set.

While Samsung has not officially announced the device, the latest leaks suggest that the company could be preparing a notable upgrade over last year’s Galaxy S25 FE, with improvements spanning performance, battery life and design.

Galaxy S26 FE May Adopt New Camera Design

A listing on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) database appears to show a real-world image of the purported Galaxy S26 FE. The device seems to follow the design language introduced with the Galaxy S26 series earlier this year.

Unlike previous Fan Edition models that featured individual camera rings, the leaked image shows a vertically aligned pill-shaped camera module housing multiple sensors. The design closely resembles Samsung’s recent foldable devices and could bring greater visual consistency across the company’s premium smartphone portfolio.

The image also hints at a flat metal frame, visible antenna bands and a contrasting finish between the frame and rear panel. However, as the pictured device is believed to be a pre-production unit, the final retail version could undergo changes before launch.

Samsung branding is visible on the lower portion of the rear panel, while the camera module appears positioned close to the top and side edges of the device.

Exynos 2500 Could Power The New Fan Edition

Performance may be one of the biggest upgrades for the Galaxy S26 FE. A Samsung smartphone carrying the model number SM-S741U, believed to be the upcoming Fan Edition model, was recently spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench.

The listing points to Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset, identified by the model number S5E9955. The same processor is also expected to power the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in select markets.

According to the benchmark results, the device achieved a single-core score of 2,426 and a multi-core score of 8,004 in Geekbench 6. These figures represent a noticeable improvement over the Galaxy S25 FE, which typically records scores of around 2,149 and 7,074 respectively.

The benchmark listing further suggests the device could ship with 8GB RAM and run Android 17 out of the box, likely paired with Samsung’s One UI 9 software interface.

Bigger Battery And Familiar Camera Setup Expected

The Galaxy S26 FE is also tipped to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Reports indicate that the panel may be supplied by Chinese display manufacturer CSOT.

Battery capacity could see a slight boost as well. The smartphone is expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Although the WPC listing references 5W charging, industry observers believe that figure is merely a placeholder and not indicative of the final wireless charging speeds.

The device is also expected to support the Qi 2.2.1 wireless charging standard. However, there is currently no indication of built-in magnetic hardware, meaning users may not get full magnetic Qi2 functionality.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy S26 FE is rumoured to feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 12-megapixel front-facing camera is also expected.

Samsung traditionally launches its Fan Edition smartphones in the second half of the year. The Galaxy S25 FE was unveiled in September 2025, making a similar launch window likely for its successor. While pricing remains unknown, industry reports suggest ongoing memory supply constraints could lead to a modest increase over the Galaxy S25 FE’s launch price of Rs 59,999.

Until Samsung makes an official announcement, all specifications and features remain subject to change.
