Ranveer Singh Reportedly Earns Rs 325 Crore From Dhurandhar Duology

The CSR Journal Magazine

Actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly joined the ranks of Indian cinema’s highest-paid stars after earning an estimated Rs 325 crore from the blockbuster Dhurandhar duology. The figure, which has not been officially confirmed, is said to have been driven by a profit-sharing arrangement rather than a conventional acting fee.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the actor opted against charging a fixed remuneration for the project and instead tied his earnings to the commercial performance of the two films, allowing him to benefit from theatrical collections as well as revenues from satellite, digital and music rights.

Profit-Sharing Model Reportedly Boosted Earnings

Reports suggest that Ranveer chose to forgo his regular acting fee for the Dhurandhar films, which were originally conceived as a single project before being developed as a duology.

The actor is also said to have infused additional funds into the project when the production budget increased, a move that reportedly enhanced his share of the profits generated by both films.

With Dhurandhar emerging as a major box-office success across markets, the strategy appears to have paid off handsomely.

The reported earnings have made the film one of the most financially rewarding ventures of Ranveer’s career.

Trend of Revenue-Sharing Deals Gains Momentum

Profit-sharing arrangements have become increasingly common among leading actors in the film industry.

Unlike fixed remuneration models, such agreements link an actor’s earnings directly to a film’s commercial performance, making them inherently riskier.

However, when a film becomes a blockbuster, the returns can far exceed what would have been earned through a traditional fee structure.

If the reported Rs 325 crore figure is accurate, Ranveer would rank among the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema.

Comparisons Drawn With Top Film Stars

The reported earnings have inevitably led to comparisons with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Allu Arjun and Prabhas have previously been associated with substantial paydays generated through similar revenue-sharing arrangements on successful films.

Such deals have increasingly reshaped the compensation model for top stars, particularly on big-budget productions with strong box-office prospects.

Despite the widespread buzz surrounding the reported figure, neither Ranveer Singh nor the makers of Dhurandhar have officially commented on or confirmed the estimate.

As of now, the reported Rs 325 crore payday remains based on media reports.
