OnePlus has officially introduced the OnePlus N6x in India, marking an expansion of its N series of smartphones. This release follows the recent unveiling of the OnePlus N6 on June 30, 2026. The latest model is designed for consumers seeking an affordable smartphone that offers a robust battery, a sturdy design, and reliable daily performance. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, running on OxygenOS 16, which is based on Android 16. The device is set to be available for purchase beginning next week.

Key Features of OnePlus N6x

The OnePlus N6x boasts a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display, featuring a refresh rate of 120Hz, which enhances visual fluidity. It delivers peak brightness of up to 900 nits and incorporates an Eye Protection mode. Additionally, the display supports both vivid and natural colour modes to cater to diverse viewing preferences. Inside the device, the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor is coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, promising effective multitasking and performance.

OnePlus claims that the model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is certified for a smooth performance span of up to 48 months. Furthermore, the smartphone integrates a vapour chamber cooling system intended to manage temperatures during heavy use, such as gaming. In terms of camera capabilities, the OnePlus N6x features a 13-megapixel rear camera equipped with autofocus and supports digital zoom of up to 10 times. For selfies, it is fitted with a 5-megapixel front camera.

A significant highlight of the device is its substantial 7,000mAh battery, which OnePlus asserts can last for up to 2.5 days on a single charge. The battery supports 15W wired fast charging, 5W reverse wired charging, along with bypass charging, Night Charging Mode, and Ultra Power Saving Mode. The company claims the battery is engineered for longevity, capable of enduring up to 1,600 charging cycles while retaining over 80 per cent of its original capacity even after six years of regular usage.

Pricing and Availability of OnePlus N6x

The OnePlus N6x is available at a price point of Rs 18,999 for the variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the version offering 4GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 20,999. To coincide with the launch, OnePlus is providing several offers, including an instant bank discount of up to Rs 1,500 on qualifying credit card and EMI transactions from select banks. Additionally, the company is also offering options for up to six months of no-cost EMI for purchasers.

Customers can choose from two colour variants: Burgundy Red and Ice Blue. The smartphone will commence open sales in India on August 4, 2026, and will be available through various platforms including Amazon, OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, OnePlus Experience Stores, and selected offline retail channels across the country.

In terms of durability, the OnePlus N6x is backed by MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, and is protected by ArmorShell. The device has a weight of 214g, combining performance with practical reliability for everyday usage.
