The CSR Journal Magazine

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched ‘Pariksha Karmayogi: Capacity-Building Programme for Examination Officials’ on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform, in a move aimed at making national entrance examinations more secure, transparent and standardised.

According to the agency, the initiative is designed to train personnel involved in conducting offline, pen-and-paper examinations and strengthen supervision and operational efficiency across examination centres.

The programme is expected to help ensure fair and secure conduct of examinations while establishing uniform standards of administration nationwide.

Focus On Centre Superintendents And Invigilators

The training programme is primarily intended for examination functionaries, especially Centre Superintendents and Invigilators, who are responsible for conducting major NTA examinations, including the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG).

Hosted on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform, the course enables participants to learn at their own pace and obtain certification through assessment-based evaluation.

The NTA said the initiative would contribute to improving accountability and strengthening adherence to established procedures across examination centres.

By creating a trained and certified workforce, the agency aims to enhance the overall examination ecosystem and ensure greater consistency in exam administration.

Four Modules Cover Entire Examination Process

The programme has been structured into four modules covering different stages of the examination process.

The first module introduces participants to the responsibilities of examination officials and highlights the importance of maintaining fairness, transparency and integrity.

The second module focuses on preparations before the examination, including centre readiness, security measures and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The third module provides guidance on examination-day operations and covers procedures before the exam begins, at the start of the examination, during the examination and after its conclusion.

The final module serves as a quick reference guide, providing a concise summary of important instructions and responsibilities for easy revision.

Digital Learning To Enhance Exam Integrity

The NTA said the programme reflects its continued emphasis on leveraging technology to strengthen the examination ecosystem.

Officials noted that well-trained personnel are critical for the smooth conduct of large-scale national examinations and that technology-enabled learning can help improve procedural compliance and operational efficiency.

Through the use of digital platforms and certification mechanisms, the agency aims to create a skilled workforce capable of conducting examinations in a secure and standardised manner.

The initiative is also intended to reinforce the NTA’s commitment to fairness, transparency and integrity while supporting the smooth conduct of national entrance examinations across the country.
