Singer Katy Perry has publicly confirmed her relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, describing him as the “love of my life” and saying he has brought a sense of stability and completeness to her life.

The singer made the remarks during the premiere of her Lifetimes Tour concert film at the Tribeca Festival in New York City on June 8, where the couple also made their red-carpet debut.

The new chapter in Perry’s personal life comes less than a year after the end of her relationship with actor Orlando Bloom.
