This particular enforcement action is linked to a long-standing dispute in Chimanpura village, Bhankrota. Rajdarbar Pinkcity Developments Pvt Ltd has alleged that various unauthorised commercial ventures—including resorts, furniture shops, boutiques, and eateries—have emerged on land designated for residential development. The developer asserts that previous appeals to local authorities, along with directions from the Jaipur Development Authority Appellate Tribunal and the Rajasthan High Court, have not led to any substantial enforcement actions.

The ongoing case escalated to the Supreme Court, where the developer sought intervention against the illegal commercial use of the land, invoking the apex court’s nationwide directives from March. The applications stressed that local authorities had failed to act against identified encroachments, despite clear judicial instructions.
