Investigators Examine Ayan Ahmad’s Wealth Amid Amravati Sex Scandal

The CSR Journal Magazine

The investigation surrounding the alleged sexual exploitation case in Maharashtra’s Paratwada has intensified, particularly regarding the lifestyle and finances of the principal suspect, Ayan Ahmad. At 19 years of age, Ahmad faces accusations of exploiting approximately 200 minors and distributing obscene videos of them. Recent social media posts reportedly depict him showcasing luxury vehicles, considerable cash, and high-end electronic gadgets, prompting further inquiries into his financial background.

Various videos have emerged, presenting Ahmad in high-end cars and displaying firearms. These visuals have heightened concerns about the sources of his wealth and potential links to criminal activities. Notably, he has made statements on social media that have drawn attention to his bold persona, suggesting aspirations of significant achievements, as he reportedly stated that “winning matters more to him than life.”

Vehicle and Firearm Assessed as Evidence

In the course of their investigation, authorities have identified a Mahindra Thar SUV allegedly linked to Ahmad. The vehicle, registered as MH-27-DL-3100, is currently being examined for ownership details to ascertain its direct connection to the accused. Additionally, the firearm displayed in the viral videos is undergoing scrutiny to determine its legality.

A flat located in the Katora Naka area of Amravati has also been marked as a significant site in this case. Allegedly used for filming and circulating pornographic content, the third-floor apartment has been cited by residents as a “den of vice.” Neighbours report ongoing suspicious activities in the vicinity, with numerous young men and women allegedly frequenting the apartment, often under the cover of darkness.

While investigators have confirmed a limited number of survivors so far, local sources suggest that the extent of exploitation could be vastly larger, with allegations indicating that numerous girls may have been victimised, and hundreds of videos may have been produced. The case has been officially registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and the Information Technology Act, with a Special Investigation Team tasked to delve deeper into the matter.

Ongoing Arrests and Evidence Collection

To date, eight individuals have been arrested in connection with the investigations. The inquiry commenced after disturbing videos featuring minor girls surfaced online on April 11. Ahmad was apprehended two days later, on April 13, and placed into custody. As per police reports, Ahmad allegedly distributed the videos to an associate who subsequently disseminated them further.

Authorities have confiscated various digital devices, including a laptop, tablet, hard disk, and several mobile phones, all of which will undergo forensic analysis to gather more evidence. This technological evidence is anticipated to illuminate the case and potentially unearth additional suspects.

Authorities have indicated a broadening of the investigation, aiming to follow the financial trails of Ahmad, identify his contacts, and discover any further accomplices. With new information emerging regularly, the current focus remains on determining whether the activity was limited to a small group or indicative of a larger criminal enterprise. The primary objective is to clarify the origins of Ahmad’s wealth and understand the full extent of the alleged exploitation operation.
