They explained, “My sleep is more important,” refusing early morning meetings before 8 am and refraining from assuming additional responsibilities voluntarily.

The goal for the employee is clear: they intend to perform their core responsibilities adequately to maintain job security without overexerting themselves. “My principle is to just do my core job well to ensure I don’t get laid off,” they noted. While adopting a less intense work style, they are simultaneously exploring new employment opportunities.
