The incident reportedly took place on the morning of June 19, around 5 am, when the young girl was sleeping on a footpath alongside her family.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the accused reportedly kidnapped the child during the early hours while her family was asleep. Following the crime, he allegedly confessed to abandoning her body on the Faridabad-Gurugram road. The police have said that more detailed information regarding the investigation is forthcoming as they continue to gather evidence.

Previous Incident in Madhya Pradesh

In a related context, another serious case has come to light from Madhya Pradesh, where three men were arrested on charges of gang-raping a minor girl. This incident reportedly occurred in mid-May. The police confirmed that their identification was facilitated by reviewing nearly 100 CCTV camera feeds from the area, showcasing the extensive efforts of law enforcement to bring justice to the victim.

This case began with a police patrol team discovering the young girl in distress. According to Superintendent of Police Rajat Saklecha, the minor girl was lured away from a local bus stand to a secluded location by two individuals, subsequently leading to an assault by three youths. The assault took place on the intervening night of May 15 and 16, 2023, highlighting the unfortunate reality of child safety in various public settings.

Law enforcement officials reported that the suspects were apprehended quickly, and the vehicle involved in the crime was also seized. The authorities have moved ahead with legal actions under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, elevating the seriousness of the charges against the accused.
