CSR: Cancer Patients Receives Free Treatment with SBI Life Support

Freedom from Cancer (CML) run by Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (BMCHRC) has got a helping hand from SBI Life Insurance.
Under CML-CMY Scheme, a hospital provides free treatment to CML (Blood cancer) patients & in order to extend support to this noble cause, Mr. Aseem Mishra, Director of SBI Life Insurance handed over a cheque of Rs. 20.34 lakhs to hospital under SBI Life CSR Activities.
This Project was started by BMCHRC in August 2015 & till now 166 patients are being treated & are cancer-free. As of September 2020, a total of Rs 1.82 crores Rs has been spent on this project.
In addition, Freedom from Cancer (CML), the hospital also runs, Donate A Life, Wilms Tumor (Kidney Cancer), Breast Cancer Recurrence Prevention, and Cure Thyroid cancer projects in which a total of Rs 5,94,70,869 has been spent till Sep 2020. Along with the said programs, a total of 8,12,980 has also spent on the free examination drive of Breast and Uterus cancer.
On this occasion, Chairman of the hospital Mr. Navarattan Kothari, Vice-Chairperson Mrs. Anila Kothari, Treasurer Trustee Dr. Prem Singh Lodha, Executive Director (Major General) S.C. Pareek and Jaipur Region Manager of SBI Life Insurance Mr. Satyanarayan Praturi and Regional HR Yajuvendra Singh were also present.
