Concurrently, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has petitioned the Supreme Court to prohibit TVK leaders, including Vijay, from making public statements regarding the case. Filed by organising secretary RS Bharathi, the DMK’s petition highlights concerns over individuals previously chargesheeted in the case who now hold positions in the state cabinet following the 2026 Assembly elections.
