Shree Cement Enhances CSR Activities Focused on Healthcare, Education and Rural Development

Shree Cement Limited has expanded its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in the Guntur region, concentrating on various community development efforts, particularly in healthcare. During the financial year 2025–26, the company organised a total of 47 health camps, offering free medical consultations, diagnostic services, and medicines to over 10,150 individuals.

In addition to general medical services, Shree Cement conducted eye screening camps across four villages, facilitating eye health checks for 1,650 residents. As a result of these initiatives, 1,150 individuals received free prescription spectacles. Furthermore, the company’s Mamatha Project has been instrumental in enhancing maternal healthcare through dedicated medical camps for expecting and new mothers.

Education Support and Infrastructure Development

In the realm of education, Shree Cement has made noteworthy contributions by upgrading infrastructure at government schools. Efforts included the construction of protective sheds, installation of tile flooring, renovation of classrooms, and distribution of sports equipment. These improvements have positively affected nearly 1,200 students and teachers in the region.

Moreover, the organisation has taken measures to support teacher salaries, ensuring a more stable educational environment. In conjunction with this, enhancements have also been made at Anganwadi centres, contributing to early childhood education and care.

Shree Cement’s commitment to education exemplifies its dedication to fostering a well-rounded, supportive learning atmosphere for the youth in these communities. Through these initiatives, the company aims to strengthen the educational framework, allowing students to thrive academically.

These include road repairs, the construction of drainage systems, the installation of borewells, and improvements to public utilities. These efforts have benefited more than 10,000 villagers, enhancing their living conditions significantly.

During the financial year, Shree Cement planted 23,930 saplings around its manufacturing unit in Guntur. This initiative underscores the organisation’s dedication to ecological conservation and environmental improvement in the area.
