Ranveer Singh is actively working on a film adaptation of Amish Tripathi’s novel, The Immortals of Meluha. This venture has the potential to be one of the most significant projects in his career. As reported by Pinkvilla, Singh has acquired the rights to the book through his production company, Maa Kasam Film, and has partnered with Birla Studios to transform this mythological tale into a trilogy.

The project is surrounded by speculation following Singh’s recent success with Dhurandhar. According to sources, the adaptation is currently in the writing phase. Ranveer Singh, alongside Ananya Birla, is reportedly engaged in developing the screenplay and expanding the narrative universe of the franchise.

The production team aims to construct a long-term cinematic universe, intending to narrate the story across three films. The writing team is meticulously crafting the screenplay and developing the world surrounding the franchise.

Initial reports suggest that filming for the first instalment is anticipated to commence in 2028. The cast has yet to be finalised, with a particular focus on the script before selecting a director.
