MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal articulated that the unrest was indicative of broader human rights violations under Pakistani governance.

Jaiswal accused the Pakistani state of responding to civilian grievances with excessive force, highlighting allegations of police brutality and deprivation of essential resources. The statement called for the international community to recognise the significance of these events, urging accountability for perceived human rights violations in the region.
