KTR Issues Legal Notice to CM Revanth Reddy Demanding Apology Over Allegations

The CSR Journal Magazine

KT Rama Rao, the Working President of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has formally issued a legal notice to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. This notice demands that Reddy provide an unconditional public apology within 48 hours for allegedly associating KTR with Globe Arena Technologies and falsely labelling it as a benami company. KTR asserts that the remarks made by the Chief Minister are unfounded and defamatory.

According to a press release from the BRS, KTR has vehemently rejected the allegations, claiming he has no ownership or any financial ties to Globe Arena Technologies. The notice requests that the Chief Minister substantiate his claims with credible evidence within the specified timeframe.

KTR further stated that should Reddy fail to provide proof, he should issue an apology or risk facing both civil and criminal proceedings, including a potential defamation lawsuit, due to the damage incurred to KTR’s reputation.

Response to Allegations

KTR categorically refuted all claims linking him to Globe Arena Technologies, labelling them as fabricated and politically motivated. He expressed his discontent over a highly irresponsible statement from a person in the Chief Minister’s position, questioning the lack of evidence behind such serious accusations.

The BRS leader raised questions about the Congress Government’s past agreements with Globe Arena, challenging the credibility of Reddy’s claims. KTR posited that if the company was indeed his benami enterprise, it would be illogical for the previous administration to have entered into contracts with it.

Additionally, he accused Reddy of attempting to divert public focus from pressing issues regarding alleged discrepancies in national examinations, stating that responsibility for any irregularities lies primarily with the Central Government. KTR remarked that the Chief Minister has chosen to stage political theatrics rather than hold the Centre accountable.

Call for Investigation and Truth

KTR expressed his willingness to cooperate with any investigations relating to these allegations. He confirmed he is prepared to engage with various investigative bodies, including the CID and CBI, reinforcing his confidence in revealing the truth. Concurrently, he challenged the government to initiate inquiries into allegations involving Revanth Reddy’s family and related corruption issues.

Moreover, KTR extended an open challenge to the Chief Minister for a live lie detector test, insisting that such transparency would clarify their respective positions regarding the allegations. He maintained that he has no connections to Globe Arena Technologies while also addressing the broader context of corruption allegations involving the Chief Minister.

KTR underscored the necessity for individuals holding significant public office to conduct themselves with integrity, stressing that unsubstantiated allegations made for political advantage diminish the dignity of constitutional roles. He reiterated the demand for an immediate withdrawal of Reddy’s statements and the issuance of an unreserved apology within the specified deadline, or he would consider legal action to safeguard his reputation and uphold the rule of law.
