Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has released an advisory urging students, faculty, and staff to refrain from attending gatherings at or around Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. This directive follows the Supreme Court’s recent instructions concerning public demonstrations. Ongoing Protests by the Cockroach Janta Party

Amid these developments, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced that its demonstrations will continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns from his position. CJP spokesperson Deepak Balyan stated that the government’s commitment to implement fast-track courts is viewed as inadequate. He expressed that the youth of India are increasingly aware and disillusioned with past governmental assurances.

Balyan articulated the core issues driving the protests, asserting that the movement will persist indefinitely unless there is a change in the education minister’s status. The spokesperson noted that the repeated assurances from government officials have led to a deep sense of betrayal among young citizens, who now demand tangible accountability.
