Investigation Reveals Planned Murder Conspiracy in Ketan Agarwal Case

The CSR Journal Magazine

The investigation into the death of realtor Ketan Agarwal has unveiled a suspected murder conspiracy, with the accused allegedly rehearsing their plan days before the incident. Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary were reportedly seen at Lohagad fort, where they practised how they would execute their plan to push Agarwal. The first attempt is believed to have occurred on June 14, just days after this alleged trial run.

Authorities have uncovered evidence suggesting that the duo conducted detailed online searches for methods to kill Agarwal and prepared responses in anticipation of police inquiries. This research included looking up various ways to commit the act before concluding that pushing him from the fort would be the simplest approach.

The meticulous preparation involved identifying specific locations at Lohagad where the act could take place and discussing how Agarwal would be approached and pushed into the valley. Investigators are closely examining these details as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Relationship Dynamics and Alleged Motives

Sources indicate that Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary first met during a Diwali celebration. Their friendship blossomed into a relationship, which became evident to acquaintances during cricket matches held at Market Yard. It is believed that Siya’s brother, Sahil Goyal, was aware of their interactions.

Complications arose when a marriage proposal for Siya and Ketan Agarwal was arranged through family connections, leading to their engagement in February. Investigators claim that following this engagement, Siya distanced herself from Chetan but later re-established contact, leading police to suspect that she was hesitant about continuing with the marriage. Allegedly, discussions between Siya and Chetan contributed to the planning of Agarwal’s murder.

Despite ongoing wedding preparations, including photoshoots and family functions, investigators suggest that doubts regarding the marriage persisted. The evolving relationship dynamics between Siya and Chetan are considered crucial to understanding the motive behind the alleged conspiracy.

Concealment Efforts and Digital Footprint

Further inquiries have revealed that Chetan allegedly attempted to disguise his identity during the crime. Reports indicate that he wore a hoodie to conceal his appearance while travelling to Lohagad. After following Siya and Agarwal, he reportedly removed the hoodie and concealed it in his backpack.

Police suspect that Chetan feared being recognised, as Agarwal had interacted with him multiple times over video calls due to their association with Siya. Following the alleged act, Chetan is believed to have reverted to his usual appearance and interacted with others normally as he descended from the fort.

In addition to the physical concealment, investigators are scrutinising digital evidence as both suspects allegedly anticipated police questioning. They reportedly searched for possible inquiries officers might make and what consequences could follow in such a case. This preparation included maintaining contact through WhatsApp after the incident, with many exchanged messages allegedly deleted, prompting a forensic analysis to recover the information.

Calls for Justice from Agarwal’s Family

As the investigation continues, Ketan Agarwal’s family has expressed concerns over the engagement dynamics, questioning why issues surrounding the marriage were not raised until now. A family member stated that they had provided complete transparency about Ketan to Siya’s family before the engagement, raising questions about the motivations behind her actions.

The family is seeking justice, insisting that if there were any reservations, they should have been communicated earlier. They have called upon the authorities for a thorough investigation, hoping for accountability in this alarming case. The ongoing probe continues to uncover further details and insights related to the alleged conspiracy against Agarwal.
