In a troubling turn of events, the landlord allegedly took advantage of the family’s dire situation by proposing to waive the rent in exchange for sexual favours from the tenant’s wife. The exploitation escalated drastically when the landlord’s demands extended to the couple’s minor daughter. Reports suggest that the father, again under pressure, consented to the landlord’s actions, resulting in horrific abuse. Investigators have indicated that the young girl was taken to various locations, including a property in Tankara, where further criminal activities allegedly occurred.

The cycle of abuse and exploitation came to light when the minor’s maternal grandfather became aware of the distressing situation. Alarmed by what he learned and the evident failure of parental protection, he took immediate action by lodging a formal complaint with local law enforcement.
