A Maha Shivratri procession in Dahod district of Gujarat transformed into a tragic scene when a fire stunt during the Shiv Yatra resulted in the death of a devotee. The event, which attracted numerous participants and spectators, was part of the Garbada Shiv Yatra celebration.

During the procession, a performer engaged in a daring act reportedly poured petrol on himself and ignited the flames as part of his performance. The situation escalated rapidly, leading to uncontrollable fire.

Ramanbhai Rathod, who was nearby at the time, was caught in the midst of the blaze. Eyewitness accounts describe the fire erupting suddenly, leaving little time for individuals in proximity to escape.
