Korea, which operates “TrueBalance” (the RBI-authorised PPI issuing entity and emerging lending platform), recently announced the launch of its new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, ‘Project HARMONY.’ In collaboration with TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute)- a renowned institution known for its expertise in environmental research and sustainable development, ‘Project HARMONY’ intends to foster environmental sustainability and youth empowerment, aligning with the company’s dedication to societal well-being under its esteemed CSR program, “Sahayak.”

Through Project HARMONY, TrueBalance is driving sustainable community development by equipping village community centres with solar energy solutions, fostering stability and community engagement. Furthermore, the company provides solar street lights to selected villages covered under the project including those along the Gurgaon-Faridabad road, such as Baliyawas, Bandhwari, Mangar, and Mandi to enhance safety and add joy to the festive season as part of its commitment to sustainability. The Company aspires to have lasting positive change through Project HARMONY, emphasizing education, community well-being, and economic stability.
The project aims to reach young adults, providing renewable energy resources and livelihood interventions in these villages. The program will be live at the selected project sites for the next six months, and with TrueBalance’s support and local response, it will further explore a greater scale-up phase.
