Sony Introduces 115-Inch Bravia Television Featuring True RGB Technology

Sony has launched its largest television yet, the 115-inch Bravia 9II, which incorporates True RGB display technology. This new model signifies a significant expansion of the company’s Bravia line, which now includes seven models ranging in size from 55 inches to 115 inches, aimed at delivering superior visual quality.

The 115-inch Bravia has been designed to create a cinematic experience within the home setting. With a 4K display and a refresh rate of 120Hz, it showcases Sony’s advanced display capabilities, ensuring clarity and smoothness for various content types.

Nezu Daisuke, Global Head of the Home Product Business Division at Sony Corporation, stated that the introduction of this television pushes the boundaries of home entertainment. The enhancements focus on providing exceptional colour accuracy and realism, resulting in a viewing experience that reflects the intentions of content creators.

Technical Features and Specifications

The standout feature of the Bravia 9II is its expansive 115-inch screen, coupled with a 4K LCD panel. This television also utilises RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro technology, designed to independently manage the red, green, and blue LEDs for improved brightness, contrast, and overall colour fidelity.

In addition, the television incorporates various enhancements like X-Wide Angle Pro to maintain picture quality from various angles, Luminance Booster Pro for increased brightness, and Smooth Colour Gradation to minimise colour banding.

The device runs on Sony’s XR Processor, integrating features such as XR Contrast Booster 40 and XR Motion Clarity. It supports multiple HDR formats, including Dolby Vision and HDR10, and incorporates RGB TRILUMINOS Max along with Live Colour Technology for superior colour reproduction.

The audio experience is equally impressive, featuring a 12-speaker Acoustic Multi-Audio+ system with a total output of 85W, including two subwoofers and eight full-range speakers, as well as support for Dolby Atmos and DTS. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and several HDMI and USB ports, catering to a variety of user needs.

Price and Availability Details in India

The 115-inch Bravia 9II has been priced at Rs 45,99,900 and is anticipated to be available soon in the Indian market. For those interested in smaller options, the 75-inch and 85-inch variants of the same line are available for Rs 8,39,900 and Rs 9,89,900, respectively. These models are already on sale.

Sony has also updated the Bravia 7II series, which begins at Rs 3,59,900 for the 55-inch version, while the 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch options are priced at Rs 4,39,900, Rs 6,19,900, and Rs 7,19,900, respectively. All four models in this series are currently available.

The Bravia 9II and Bravia 7II series will be sold through Sony Centres, exclusives stores, and prominent electronics retailers, as well as major e-commerce platforms throughout India. These options aim to cater to a diverse range of consumer preferences and budgets.
