Sonakshi Sinha has leased her luxurious apartment in Bandra, Mumbai to the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait at a total rental rate of Rs 1.92 crore. This information was revealed through property registration documents obtained by CRE Matrix.

The lease will last for one year and has been officially registered as of May 25, 2026. Documentation indicates that the arrangement is intended for the residential use of the Consul General Emad Abdul Aziz Al-Kharaz, who will reside there with family and staff.

Specifications of the Apartment

The apartment occupies 4,350 square feet of carpet area and is situated on a higher floor of a building known as 81 Aureate in Bandra West. It also includes an additional 27 square feet designated for a servants’ toilet.

As part of this arrangement, the lease agreement stipulates a monthly rental fee of Rs 16 lakh, commencing on June 7, 2026, and concluding on June 6, 2027. The official documents indicate that a stamp duty of Rs 96,000 and registration fees of Rs 1,000 were also paid at the time of registration.

The lease includes three designated parking spaces for the tenant, with access to various amenities within the building. These amenities are available at no additional cost.

The residential building offers a comprehensive suite of facilities aimed at enhancing the living experience of its occupants. Amenities include a gymnasium, library, conference room, and two swimming pools, which are separated for men and women.
