Shikhar Dhawan’s previous marriage to Aesha Mukherjee officially ended in October 2023, marking the conclusion of their 11-year relationship. Despite these statements from the court, Dhawan was not granted full custody of Zoravar, receiving only visitation rights along with permission for video calls during specified durations, applicable in both India and Australia where Aesha currently resides.

Reports suggest that he was later blocked from contacting Zoravar through virtual means.
