Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A27 5G in India, further enhancing its Galaxy A series lineup. This mid-range smartphone follows the Samsung Galaxy A26 5G, which was unveiled the previous year. With a variety of colour options available, the new model stands out with its commitment to providing six years of Android operating system updates.

While the price has not yet been disclosed, it is confirmed that the smartphone will be available for purchase starting from July 3. Notably, the design features a shift from the traditional waterdrop camera notch found in previous models, opting instead for a punch-hole camera design.

The Galaxy A27 5G boasts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display, recognised for its 120Hz refresh rate, enabling smoother interactions whether scrolling through apps or enjoying videos. Currently, the pricing of the Galaxy A27 5G in India remains unannounced, although it is known to retail in the United States at $349.99, equating to approximately Rs 33,089. This smartphone is expected to be accessible for purchase starting from July 14. Customers can choose from four colour options: Black, Blue, Light Green, and Light Pink.

In addition to its impressive hardware specifications, the Galaxy A27 5G includes a suite of smart features aimed at enhancing user experience. It is equipped with Samsung Knox Vault for improved security, an IP64 rating offering resistance to dust and water, and various AI tools such as Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription. Users will also have the option to utilise different AI assistants including Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Bixby.
