On August 13, Samajwadi Party MPs contributed ₹2,15,490, which was raised during their recent protests in Parliament, to a Lord Hanuman temple located in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The donation, made alongside two silver coins, was reportedly collected from various Members of Parliament over several days, reflecting a collaborative effort in their initiative.

According to MP Akshay Yadav, the collected funds were deposited into the temple as a demonstration of faith and solidarity, following the ongoing allegations concerning the alleged misappropriation of donations intended for the Ram temple construction.
