Over 800 Students Celebrate Graduation from Chennais Amirta International Institute

Chennai’s Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management celebrated the graduation of more than 800 students, reinforcing its dedication to producing employable hospitality professionals. The event, held in Chennai, gathered students, faculty, and distinguished guests to commemorate this significant academic achievement.

The ceremony featured Hony. Con. Prof. G. Ravi, the Vice-Chancellor of Alagappa University, who served as the Chief Guest and conferred degrees on the graduates. Diverse Academic Programmes Offered by Chennais Amirta

These included Bachelor of Science degrees in Catering and Hotel Administration, Diploma in Hotel Administration, B.Sc. Lateral Entry, and Master of Business Administration in Hotel Management.

During his address, Prof. Ravi highlighted the necessity of continuous education and skill enhancement in an ever-evolving global marketplace. He urged graduates to commit to lifelong learning and to adapt to the dynamic expectations of the hospitality sector.

Mr. R. Boomee Naathan, Chairman of Chennais Amirta Educational Group, also spoke, reaffirming that graduation represents not the end of education, but the onset of a lifelong education journey. He discussed the institution’s goal of developing industry-ready professionals within various fields, including Hotel Management, Aviation Management, and Health Sciences.

Global Employment Opportunities and Collaborations

The Chairman elaborated on the institution’s successful track record, revealing that it has facilitated 31,651 placements, helping graduates secure positions with prominent organisations throughout India, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, and beyond. The institution aims to expand on this success through strategic partnerships.

Recently, Chennais Amirta signed a memorandum of understanding with the Malaysian Association of Hotels, opening pathways for students to access employment opportunities in over 1,100 member hotels across Malaysia. This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment to preparing graduates for success in a globalised hospitality landscape.

The graduation ceremony was attended by several key figures, including Mrs. Bhanumathi, Chief Operating Officer; Mr. Suren, Dean; Mr. Paul, Chief Academic Advisor; as well as principals of associated colleges and faculty members, all celebrating the achievements of the graduating class alongside parents and honoured guests.
