Oppo has officially unveiled its new flagship tablet, the Oppo Pad 5 Pro, in China. The tablet, featuring advanced specifications, is now accompanied by a smaller variant, the Oppo Pad Mini. The Oppo Pad 5 Pro is anticipated to be introduced in global markets as the OnePlus Pad 4, which has been previously teased and shares a similar design strategy as seen with its predecessor, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, that launched globally as the OnePlus Pad 3.

The Oppo Pad 5 Pro is equipped with a substantial 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD display, offering an impressive refresh rate of 144Hz and a pixel density of 315 ppi. It features a high touch sampling rate of 540Hz and supports peak brightness levels of up to 1,000 nits, which is conducive to an enhanced viewing experience.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and an Adreno 840 GPU, the tablet promises robust performance. It offers multiple configurations including up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The rear camera is a 13-megapixel unit, complemented by an 8-megapixel front camera suitable for selfies and video calls.

Additionally, the device incorporates a substantial 13,380mAh battery, which supports 67W wired fast charging. The software runs on ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, and the device weighs approximately 672g, making it a competitively featured tablet.

Specifications of the Oppo Pad Mini

The Oppo Pad Mini complements its larger counterpart with a more compact 8.8-inch AMOLED display. This display achieves a resolution of 2,520 x 1,680 pixels, maintaining a similarly high refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It also boasts an impressive peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits, enhancing its visibility in various lighting conditions.

This smaller tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, which operates at a clock speed of 3.8GHz, alongside an Adreno 829 GPU. Configuration options include up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. Like the Oppo Pad 5 Pro, the Oppo Pad Mini features a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Oppo Pad Mini is equipped with an 8,000mAh battery that also supports 67W wired fast charging. It runs the same ColorOS 16 software as the Oppo Pad 5 Pro, providing users with a consistent experience across devices, while weighing around 282g, making it lightweight and portable.
