Oppo is anticipated to unveil its next-generation flagship smartphones, the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra, on May 21. Recent leaks have provided insights into potential pricing for these devices in the Indian market. Tipster Abhishek Yadav has claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that the starting price for the OPPO Find X9s may be set at Rs 79,999. Another tipster, Sanju Choudhary, suggests that the premium OPPO Find X9 Ultra could retail for Rs 1,79,999.

According to the leaked information, the Rs 79,999 price point for the Find X9s is likely for the model featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, there may be a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant priced at Rs 89,999. The Find X9 Ultra, by contrast, is expected to be available only in the top-tier configuration of 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, potentially positioning it among the most expensive Android smartphones in India.

Both the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra are expected to be available for purchase through popular online platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and Oppo’s own e-commerce site.

Specifications of OPPO Find X9 Ultra

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is predicted to come with a substantial 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 2K and an impressive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. This device is anticipated to focus significantly on photography, featuring a triple rear camera arrangement spearheaded by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. Reports suggest it will also incorporate another 200-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom capabilities, in addition to a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera that supports an impressive 10x optical zoom.

The periscope lens is believed to utilise a Quintuple Prism design that allows light to reflect five times within a compact module. This configuration, combined with sensor shift stabilisation and optical image stabilisation (OIS), is expected to significantly enhance image quality and stability.

Under the hood, the Find X9 Ultra is likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, in tandem with a robust 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery. The smartphone is also rumoured to support rapid 100W wired charging as well as 50W wireless charging. Additional expected features include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

The OPPO Find X9s is expected to sport a 6.59-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, featuring a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. Reports indicate that the display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, enhancing its durability.

In terms of camera capabilities, the device is reportedly set to incorporate a triple 50-megapixel camera system, fine-tuned by Hasselblad and supported by OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine. The camera system is expected to offer support for 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video recording across all rear cameras, making it appealing for photography enthusiasts.

Powering the Find X9s, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor fabricated on a 3nm process is anticipated. It is also suggested that the device will include a substantial 32,052.5mm vapour chamber cooling system to manage thermal performance efficiently. The smartphone may house a 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery and operate on Android-based ColorOS 16, all encased in a sleek 7.99mm body.
